Created, organized and managed the distribution of electronic communications for world’s largest LGBT non-profit. Communications topics included publicity, fundraising, advocacy, events promotion and program updates. Other duties included web and email design; collection of constituent data; maintenance of master constituent lists; consulting with senior management on technology acquisition; staff training on platforms including NationBuilder, Convio, WordPress, CQ Rollcall and VAN; coordinating social communications through multiple Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr accounts; creation of custon Facebook advocacy and fundraising apps using Shortstack.

Created and managed the implementation of statewide system for contacting 600,000 voters via phone bank, canvass, GOTV and election day actions. Specific duties included acquisition and management of VAN, Catalist and Convio software; construction and outfitting of 15 call centers across California; hiring and management of 28 data integrity staff; distribution of targeted call lists through Callfire dialer; daily distribution of contact analytics via Google Docs; creation of 237 precinct GOTV targets using a custom Google Maps/VAN mash-up; creation and outfitting of election day war rooms in Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego.

Established and managed cutting-edge LGBT-equality voter education and messaging research project.In this position I mobilized 3,700 volunteers over 17,000 volunteer shifts to speak with 65,000 voters in Los Angeles County; created custom voter and volunteer tracking software in Access utilizing county and state voter files; trained organizers in San Francisco, San Diego, Santa Cruz, Fresno and Bakersfield to take our model statewide; operated house party fundraising program to double project budget in 2006; coordinated day of action with 12 door-to-door canvasses statewide totaling more than 3,700 voter contacts.
