Robert Myers is a seasoned Enterprise Data Governance & Data Management Solutions Architect/ Consultant with over 30 years of experience, specializing in the full range of skills needed to implement Data Governance/ Data Catalogs deliver business value to the organizations he serves. He is currently employed at the data.world specializing in delivery of governance and catalogs utilizing the data.world platform. In this role he works with clients to enable them to embark on the data literacy and governance journey. Over the past 10 years he has helped over 30 organizations establish a governance program with an effective operating model and architecture designs that enable business value of the data governance programs and scalability models that allow the program to grow.Prior to data.world Robert was at Informatica in there Adoption Services organization helping client build out their data governance programs. He also helped develop the EIM functions in an enterprise framework and consulting with clients on developing integration competency centers and data governance programs. Prior to his work at Informatica, Rob was the Manager of BI Architecture and the EDW Solution Architect for HealthNow, the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York. He was also responsible for Enterprise Data Architecture and helped design for the first implementation of an MDM solution. Prior to working at HealthNow he was a Senior Managing Consultant at IBM in the Enterprise Application Development Practice and in the State and Local Center of Excellence. The practice was responsible for providing project management, integration services, and e-business solutions for State and Local government projects. In this solution area he was one of the primary leads for Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing engagements.Robert Myers has over 30 years of experience in solution design, development and consulting, application design, data warehousing, business intelligence and operational application development across a variety of platforms, with strong skills in data architecture, data warehouse strategy, warehouse design and build, extract, transform and load design, data modeling, database design, production implementation and project management. He has diverse experience in numerous industries such as the health insurance, public sector, banking, insurance, manufacturing, and telecommunications sectors.
