Built a strong bridge of shared understanding between Digital Product Team and Development Team of customer problems, business problems, and costs (time) by creating a new development role, 'SME', to collaborate with Product Owners from inception to 'Sprint Ready' stories and beyond.The transition from Roadmap item to a ‘sprint ready’ story was long with very uneven results. Conducted System Thinking workshops with Product Owners and Developers to map out the best flow for grooming Roadmap items from inception through to user stories that are ‘sprint ready’. The result was single process flow that was accepted and owned by both to accelerate moving work items from the Roadmap to ‘sprint ready’ in weeks rather than monthsDay-to-day website maintenance would sap resources away from long term strategic work. Facilitated splitting the development team into 3 stream focused teams with defined rules of conduct to provide better focus and predictability.

Introduced Scrum to R&D department which had been using waterfall and floundering to drive a 300% increase of value delivered and increased team productivity Pivoted all teams (22 developers) on the Skype for Business project to Kanban when Scrum wasn’t achieving desired results. This resulted in driving 4 teams to closely collaborate to get requirements and patches done quickly, in a day if necessarySeeing that Team Leads were using a C&C management approach, coached two Team Leads toward Servant Leadership resulting in a more autonomous, empowered and responsible team (was the topic of talk at Scrum Australia 2016)Facilitator of Software Defined Networks (SDN) Lean Startup project driving customer interviews resulting in the discovery that this would be an unprofitable venture (a successful failure)
