Quality inspection of structural steel and coatings, including metallizing.

• Manage company Quality Management System and serve as AISC Management Representative. AISC Certified Corporation: Building, Major Bridge, Fracture Critical and Sophisticated Paint Coating - Enclosed• Develop, revise and maintain quality manuals, policies, records, procedures and assessments in accordance with applicable specifications, codes and/or certifications, including various D.O.T. requirements. Keep inventory of new and stock steel and maintain files for CMTR’s. • Coordinate and/or perform all final nondestructive examinations of fabricated products. • Authorized to inform production personnel of and stop nonconforming work. • Track rework and repair costs.

• Coordinate and develop safety policies including hazardous material control system as per OSHA, EPA, DEP, SARA, Right-to-Know, etc. • Report, educate and administer safety concerns in the plant and on jobsites. • Develop, revise and enforce health and safety program, including lead abatement and blood monitoring. • Keep records of safety meetings, accident reports, material safety data sheets (MSDS), etc.

• Represent DOT’s, railroads, military or other clients in regard to quality control and/or assurance by reviewing CMTR’s, welding codes, welding procedures, welder qualifications and painting standards as well as VT, MT, PT and coatings inspection for various fabrication and paint shops. • Assist Corporate Quality Control Manager in various procedure reviews, calibrations and written examinations.

• Develop and utilize job costing/payroll program; track job progress and costs. • Maintain accounts payable and receivable. • Develop Quality Manual and other aspects of Quality Control to assure AISC Major Bridge (w/ Fracture Critical Endorsement) certification and various DOT approvals and inspection duties when necessary.

• Administer weekly payroll and benefits for all shop and field employees. • Track employees; maintain personnel records, W-4’s, I-9’s, unemployment and workers’ compensation, EEO records, wage taxes, benefits, union dues, etc. • Generate quarterly reports, W-2’s, 1099’s, maintain bank accounts for all companies and jobsites. • Schedule and ensure timely payments of corporate accounts, sales, use and fuel taxes. • Coordinate progress for all projects and conduct annual material inventory for job cost accounting. • Calculate time/material jobs and force accounts.

• Transfer purchasing material lists, pay weights and heat numbers to shop drawings. • Keep inventory of new and stock steel and maintain files for CMTR’s, welding procedures and welder qualifications. • Run blueprints for shop use, approval and distribution and maintain design and detail drawing logs.

Coordinate and develop safety policies including hazardous material control system as per OSHA, EPA, DEP, SARA, Right-to-Know, etc. Report, educate and administer safety concerns in the plant and on jobsites. Coordinate traffic control, signs, flagging, etc., on jobsites. Develop, revise and enforce health and safety program, including lead abatement, air monitoring and blood monitoring in plant and on jobsites. General labor: Cleaning, inventory, loading/unloading, escorting permit loads, etc.
