Project Management Duties and Accomplishments• Project management coordination, implementation of a $4.8MM SCADA Telecommunications Infrastructure project. This project implemented a high bandwidth network for communications with the RTUs and Automated substations.• Project management, coordination, implementation of a $7.6MM Substation Pilot Automation Initiative. This initiative provided wholesale replacements of the existing substation relays/RTUs and replaced them with new automated substation control houses that included microprocessor relays and Ethernet LAN networks that supported IEC 61850/GOOSE, DNP3, and MODBUS traffic.• Project management, coordination, implementation of a $4.5MM Enterprise Integration Project. This project allowed the enterprise to make intelligent business and operational decisions based on the data it receives from the transmission assets. Deliverables included: System performance metrics generation & tracking, lightning stroke amplitude & location, Web enabled dashboards, and interoperability with other key business & operational data systems. Engineering Duties and Accomplishments• Developed a new revenue metering standard that took full advantage of the latest feature of microprocessor based meters. This new standard provided METC and its customers significant cost savings by not having to install an RTU and several other auxiliary components.• Developed standardized RTU configurations DNP3, MODBUS, and TCP/IP configurations for the METC’s RTU Upgrade Initiative.• Supervised various engineering and field contractors to support company's automation and SCADA initiatives
