This project allowed the enterprise to make intelligent business and operational decisions based on the data it receives from the transmission assets. Deliverables included: System performance metrics generation & tracking, lightning stroke amplitude & location, Web enabled dashboards, and interoperability with other key business & operational data systems. Engineering Duties and Accomplishments• Developed a new revenue metering standard that took full advantage of the latest feature of microprocessor based meters. This new standard provided METC and its customers significant cost savings by not having to install an RTU and several other auxiliary components.• Developed standardized RTU configurations DNP3, MODBUS, and TCP/IP configurations for the METC’s RTU Upgrade Initiative.• Supervised various engineering and field contractors to support company's automation and SCADA initiatives
