I am a partner in KPMG’s Strategy Group in the UK. I started my career as an economist in the telecom sector in the early 1990s when the industry was transitioning to the private sector and since then I have spent 20 years working with international firms across sectors, from autos to software, to improve their growth and pricing strategies and help them to build their internal capabilities.It is a fascinating area, particularly because, in my view, growth is a critical test for companies whereby their investments in products, services, people and assets, are evaluated and rewarded by customers ahead of competitors, or not.
