I started out as a Vincennes University alumnus that enrolled in the Advanced Internship in Manufacturing (AIM) Program to pursue a degree in Advanced Manufacturing Automation Technology. I then became an alumnus of Purdue University Global with a Bachelor's of Science in Cybersecurity. Despite my career change I have learned many valuable skills that do transfer like troubleshooting, team work, problem solving, conflict resolution, asset management, and most of all patience.I have grown accustomed to the work-life of factory maintenance by seasoned experts at Caterpillar Inc. over the course of nearly two years. I have also participated in competitions to show my knowledge and aptitude in the manufacturing field like the Conexus Case Competition. I have continued this dedication through my proof of knowledge as I pursued a Bachelor's Degree at Purdue Global while working full time at IGH with my prior degree. As part of my capstone for my Bachelor's, I worked for the University to help improve the cybersecurity to ensure the protection and accessibility of all data under our control. I was also a part of a Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity project for the organization. I have now spent my time working on small, local jobs and obtained my CompTIA Security+ certificate.I think the best way to improve yourself is to challenge what you already know and to never stop improving your skills no matter how confident you are in them. I love to learn new things and meet different types of people. I have a strong belief in that we can our full potential when we take knowledge from all backgrounds and walks of life to reach a common goal.
