I have acted for financial sponsors and strategic investors and financial sponsors in complex corporate and investment matters – both in Australia and internationally – for nearly over 25 years. As head of the financial sponsors group at Corrs, I lead a multi-disciplinary team that provides our sponsor clients with a full range of legal services.My current practice includes mergers and acquisitions, divestments and carve-outs, work-outs and restructuring, joint ventures and co-investment transactions, and as well as strategic governance advice. I have particular experience acting for clients with exposure to highly-regulated sectors (such as defence, infrastructure & transport, technology, energy & resources, gaming & wagering, health & aged care, and financial services & funds management, and defence) as well as the real estate and industrial sectors.My matters usually involve coordinating a number of our practice groups, including competition and regulatory, property, energy & resources, taxation and environment and planning, as well as working closely with our finance practice.
