Assisted with the filing of claims against B.P. for economic loss and loss of use and enjoyment stemming from the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Duties included performing extensive analysis of financial documents, creating damage estimates for claims, filing claims with the Deepwater Horizon Claims Center, responding to requests and questions from the Claims Center, assisting in the editing of the damage estimate Excel program, compiling required client information, and any administrative work needed. Filed over $50 million in claims for clients.

Performed research on various states' constitutions in order to assist in the updating of the Constitution of the State of Alabama. Topics included notice provisions, "Rights of Men" provisions, local laws, and provisions regarding the relationship between state legislatures and local governments.

Assisted Professor Brannon Denning by performing research for an update to a treatise on the Commerce Clause. I also helped him update his Glannon Guide to Constitutional Law (ISBN: 9781454816645).

Performed legal research and assisted in the drafting of legal documents for Lisa Imbragulio, Samford University's Director of Investments and Legal Services. Specifically worked on the application and drafting of a new policy that complies with the FTC's Red Flags Rule, the drafting of a HIPAA document for University student athletes, the drafting of a new Attendant Care policy for the University, and performed the requisite research and drafting in order to terminate a charitable trust.
