Performed Instrumentation & Controls/Electrical technician and field engineer duties with Rev1 on a major turbine refurbishment projects following a fire inside the turbine building: This included: - Disassembly, inspections, and I&C calibrations for a Siemens GT set- Electrical system walk-down, tear down and re-assembly of key components in the 13.8kV generator set and ancilliary systems- Oversight of millwright personnel tasked with removal of a steam turbine casing, rotor lift and refurbishment of turbine blades, internals, shaft seals, etc. - Electrical testing of generators and distribution systems utilizing Doble 4100 w/DTA software, generator field and stator winding megger testing, etc. - I&C calibration checks and functional tests as required on field devices such as: Fisher pressure transducers, ashcroft gauges, contact and float level switches, condenser hotwell level transducers (Fisher Fieldvue), control valve indicators and loop verifications on RTD's, and other transmitters.OSHA 10 certified and TWIC obtained

Worked with Rev1 Lead Electrical Engineer in the testing and verification of a General Electric 13.8kV generator set being purchased by a utility in California. This included generator system visual inspections, offline power factor and capacitance testing, DC insulation resistance for stator and rotor, generator excitation module and circuitry checks, and other specific tests as required by purchasing entity.
