Awarded patent #11204966 for the “Contextual Image-Assisted Search” AI/ML project, featured in the Dell “Concept Car” sizzle reel at Dell World. Implemented with machine learning and computer vision to train foundational and fine-tuned models for classification of products in images, searches for related products grounded with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) vector store and few-shot prompts, and asks follow-up purchasing or troubleshooting questions.Created a virtual chat system to answer customers’ questions about products using RAG REST API that uploads product information to a vector store then queried with natural language questions, preventing prompt injection attacks and returning json response. Built with Python, Llama, ChatGPT, GraphRAG, LangChain, Ollama, FAISS, ChromaDB, Flask, FastApi. Also created systems for classification and sentiment analysis.Team lead of multiple teams, developing e-commerce, reporting, administration, and monitoring systems for Dell.com and Alienware.com with $2 billion annual revenue and 60 million views per year, localized across hundreds of countries and languages. The apps, REST API microservices, and admin tools, were built using C# .NET and jquery with Kafka event driven messaging architecture, using Graph, SQL Server, Cassandra and Redis No-Sql, and deployed using automated Gitlab CICD pipeline to Azure and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (similar to Azure and AWS) and monitored with Splunk.
