My role included testing both the front and back end of CoreHR's HCM system. My primary responsibility was to test the portal that users would interact with as well as verifying data integrity on the underlying SQL database. I was the primary QA Engineer for the functional areas CoreTime, CoreInsight and CoreSecurity. - CoreTime is one of CoreHR's key modules and most clients use this. CoreTime provides time and attendance functionality including timesheets, absence management and attendance tracking/clocking. - CoreInsight is a web based reporting tool that is designed to replace legacy Oracle Business Intelligence reports. - CoreSecurity is used for access control and to manage the security policies for the system. My responsibilities included testing new features, verifying bug fixes as well as regression testing the functional areas within my remit. I tested across all major browsers and mobile operating systems.I also tested many of CoreHR's web services.
