Chairman of the Computer Science Department, and teacher of Advanced Placement Computer Science (Java language), Computer Graphics, Robotics, 3D Design (Blender, Sculptris and Lightwave based), iOS Application Design and Development (Swift language), and College Board authorized Advanced Placement Studio Art: 2D classes. Supervisor to CSN Programming Team and Programming Club. Provided graphic design and large format printed output for many school and extracurricular activities.(Department chair for six years through 2012. Since 2012 responsibilities were split between Art and Computer Science departments and with responsibilities in both CSN Middle and Upper Schools.) Oversaw development of 3D printing lab of ten printers. Personally built two of the printers (xyz and delta models).

Furnished and equipped a Library-Media-Performing Arts building and supervised construction from groundbreaking. Collection development, cataloging, automation of existing manual operation from specification through testing. Personnel supervision of five professionals and paraprofessionals. Built the Community School's initial website and library interface and the first SWFLN website, for our Southwest Florida Library Network consortium. Created the Community School's first computer Ethernet network by purchasing dot com bubble Fiber-optic switches for pennies on the dollar. Pulled fiber cable throughout the campus during trenching for new air conditioning runs. Contracted for Internet services and brought free cable access and redundant Internet access to campus. Library Director and County Government department head responsible for a staff of 52 and six libraries serving Naples, Marco Island and Collier County, Florida. I was responsible for budgeting, grant writing, and consortium representation. I also worked on development and passage of dedicated funding source for Collier County Public Library capital projects. I was responsible for monitoring expenditures from CCPL budget accounts, including operating, construction, grant and trust funds and for the design/development and construction supervision of Collier County Public Library Capital Projects (four branches and a 36,000 sq. ft. headquarters Library). I brought in approximately $1.5 million dollars in state and federal program and construction grants during my tenure. Worked with local architects on a well reviewed modular library design and published articles on that design ("The Modular Library" in Library Journal, December 1989). I automated all critical library operations including circulation and inventory and served as the Total Quality Management Lead Team Chair for the County's Public Service Division. The Collier County Public Library was the top rated department of government for five straight years in the local government commissioned survey of the public (Fraser & Mohlke Associates survey).
