Oversaw all aspects of digital learning, digital storytelling and media productions for ITS and academic departments. Managed the lecture capture systems, camera, audio and lighting equipment and supporting on-line initiatives. Project managing departmental media projects from pre to post production. Managed 6 direct reports consulted with faculty on digital media curriculum. Designed course curriculum that utilized digital media. This included but was not limited to, teaching; narrative and documentary pre-production methods, DSLR camera use and theory, audio for video, lighting a scene, graphic design, video editing, podcasting.Designed a Podcasting course: This was used for digital storytelling class assignments. This lead to a Davidson College’s first Podcasting Club where students were producing shows with a wide range of topics.Multi-Media Studio: Helped create Davidson College’s multi-media studio. This space was used with a wide range of course work which included, English, Political Science, History and Anthropology departments.Recruited by the college president's office to lead the Media Project Team; create content, and co-develop online courses for Davidson College's Massive Open On-Line Course ventureProduced 300+ video elements for 4 courses: Managed a production team of 3; scheduled and managed all aspects of production including; budgets, travel expenses and logistics, production permits and credentials, free-lance hiring, equipment costs. Instrumental in the launch of 4 massive open online courses on the edX.org platform subject matter included Chemistry, Algebra, Digital Storytelling, and a joint departmental course with English and Biology on representation of HIV/AIDS, reached 75,000 enrollees within 24 months: Exceeded course completion goal.
