As the owner of Picture Yourself since 1999, I've witnessed a sea of change within the photography industry. High-end cameras became smarter and cheaper and many professional photographers were nudged out of business by an army of hobbyists with nice cameras.But Picture Yourself survived and even excelled in the declining market. How? We embraced the technological changes and evolved with the industry while maintaining our high standards for product quality and customer service. There are several talented photographers out there but what exactly separates Picture Yourself from the pack?- We have a centrally-located storefront studio across from Grand River Hospital in Kitchener-Waterloo where customers can meet our staff, view our work, and take care of their business during regular store hours 5 days a week. You don't have to meet in Tim Horton's or have your portrait taken in some guy's basement. Our approach is professional.- Our friendly and helpful staff ensure that orders are continually being processed. This is not a one-person operation. We all have specific roles to better serve our clients.- Our business has shot well over a 1,000 weddings under my ownership. I use that experience at every wedding I shoot. I can anticipate and troubleshoot problems before they even occur. Only experience gives you that ability. - I'm able to draw from my extensive experience in posing, lighting and camera techniques. These are all things a professional without vast experience can't possibly offer.- On a daily basis I deal with business people who need photos for web and marketing purposes. I have many creative ideas to help customers sell their own businesses.- I offer photography without ego.
