Robert has over 30 years business experience that includes consulting to the the water, electricity and gas industry since 1993. His current focus is on the bankable technical due diligences for Infrastructure Utilities: Gas, Water, Electricity and Mines.Robert is the Project Director for Shaw Partners a firm of consultants that has also consulted to GHD Pty Limited, international consulting engineers, the ACCC, AER and NZ Commerce Commission and many infrastructure entities in the gas, electricity and water industries on various aspects of conforming to regulatory issues including effective life reviews. He has also undertaken reviews of electricity transmission revenue applications in Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales. Robert has been appointed to the Victorian and Northern Territory Government Finance and Economics advisory panel. He has also been appointed to the ATO Infrastructure Valuation Review PanelRobert was lead consultant to the Victoria Gas & Fuel Corporation for the valuation of the transmission and distribution gas pipe network during the corporatisation and subsequent privatisation in 1993. He co-authored the Optimised Depreciated Replacement Cost (ODRC) methodology for the Victorian gas industry that was adopted by the Victorian Government and became the basis of negotiations during privatisation. This methodology was subsequently published in the International Infrastructure Management Manual, endorsed by both the Australian and NZ governments.
