About Robert E.

I have been a technology enthusiast since I was able to reach the keyboard. I have always enjoyed working with computers and working everyday to keep expanding my experience and knowledge in the tech industry.I have obtained my Cybersecurity AAS through CWI, as well obtained my Security+ certificate. I am currently working towards obtaining my CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Linux+, and CCNA certificates.I currently work as a NMCI Tier 1/2 Service Desk Agent for the Navy. I take calls and solve immediate break/fix issues by utilizing tools I have been provided and built my own through powershell to solve these issues quicker and more effectively. I troubleshoot iPhones, Windows 10 machines, account issues, and escalate when needed to Field Services or to our Tier 3 group. I work with normal members and VIPs through out the week. On a busy day working a 8 hour shift I will complete 30+ calls before the end of my shift. I have also done on the job training with new hires to get them prepared and transitioned into production to the service desk, I have acted and a Lead to other Tier I agents by providing my expertise in troubleshooting and resolving conflicts, and I have edited and created Knowledge Articles to help clarify and provide procedures for technology fixes.I have also worked in Cybersecurity for 1 year at my intership with CWI as a InfoSec Intern. I have worked with Splunk by sifting through log files to find malicious threats. I kept a workbook and logged it everday of malicious threats, I worked with ADAC to give users access to file shares, and I have used Microsoft 365 admin center to give permissions to distribution groups and shared emails.
