I am a specialist in operational applications and services of Earth Observation and remote sensing for environmental monitoring and mapping – specialising in agriculture and land cover/land use, with many years of international experience working in English, Spanish and French. I worked from 1989 to 2022 in Earth Observation and Geographic Information for agriculture and environmental monitoring. Previously I worked in West Africa, starting in 1982, in agricultural development and rangeland projects.I have been responsible for both technical project management and international programme management; working in application and demonstration projects, as well as delivering and managing technical training in Earth Observation and GIS. My experience is both in the UK and as part of international development and cooperation programmes, particularly in West Africa and South America.
