I started my career as an Assistant State Attorney working for Janet Reno in the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office where I prosecuted everything from DUIs to Traffic Homicide, Armed Robbery and Murder cases. I have had extensive experience in the DUI Traffic Homicide Division where we worked on many cases involving traffic crash analysis and accident reconstruction. As an assistant state attorney and legal intern before that, I tried over 47 jury trials before I went into private practice in 1991.Since that date, I have dedicated my career to exclusively handling personal injury cases. I spent 1991 through 1997 working with other law firms handling Jury Trials and Settlements of major personal injury claims. Then, in 1998 I opened my own practice.I saw how frustrating and ineffective it was for injured clients, when they tried to talk to their lawyer in a typical multi-lawyer law office. Many times they had to deal with a different attorney every time they called. It was then that I realized that I wanted to create a firm that attracted clients who preferred to have one lawyer handling their case who is reachable, accountable and reliable. That means a lawyer who returns phone calls, does not share responsibility (or blame) for the client’s file with any other lawyers and fights for the best result possible for his or her clients. I work with an amazing support staff but have chosen to always be the only lawyer in the office. I am personally responsible for insuring the best outcome for all my clients.I have tried to make personal attention to my clients my theme over the past two decades.
