In partnership physician and administrative leads, I am focused first and foremost on the critical staffing needs, marked salary and retention evaluations, equipment upgrades and staff engagement across six ambulatory clinics and two in-patient hospital units with 40+ direct reports and an an average annual revenue of 22 million. I lead the effort to restructure the neurodiagnostic leadership and career ladder to afford more growth and opportunity for our technicians. The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in communication is designed to establish and maintain high standards of scholarly activity, while providing excellence in academic instruction at both the theoretical and applied levels. The doctoral program encompasses the full range of quantitative, qualitative, rhetorical, and critical approaches to the study of communication, in which each student is focused through a Plan of Work that fits the student's interests.Alumni of the program are skilled researchers, practitioners, creative artists, critical consumers, and thoughtful observers of communication processes. While many serve as recognized scholars and educators throughout the country and world, others occupy responsible positions as communication and creative professionals in business and industry, government, and academia.

I am currently in the process of completing my prospectus/dissertation with the hopes of defending by Winter 2019. As an Interpersonal Communication, Intergroup, and New Media scholar, my research is focused on the intersection between relational conflict and online interaction. During my time at Wayne State, I have taught courses in research methods, interpersonal communication, business communication, global leadership, social change, and public speaking. Dr. Kathryn Maguire is my doctoral advisor. I have also served for three years as a research assistant to Dr. Stephanie Tong in the Social Media and Relational Technologies (SMART) Lab. I describe my teaching style as "directed collaboration," inviting students to engage in discussion and adjusting his methods to the needs of the learners.
