Transforming Mirvac’s retail portfolio through creating and facilitating new revenue initiatives

Working alongside the Strategy Lead, explored and and assessed the future of Mirvac’s retail portfolio (in a mixed-use integrated business environment undergoing structural change) and developed a strategy, vision for the future and roadmap for execution (both from a strategic high-level perspective and embedment from a bottom-up asset and operational team perspective).

Managed internal/external valuations, financial reporting, portfolio analysis, asset planning, ad-hoc property/portfolio analysis and internal stakeholder engagement.

Responsible for the valuation of institutional investment property including shopping centres across all major retail landlords (Scentre Group, Vicinity, ISPT, Challenger, etc.) ranging from neighbourhood centres to regional and city centre shopping centres in excess of $1 billion. This involves financial modelling using Forbury and proprietary excel based in-house models.

Led and contributed to consultancy projects including retail rental advice, retailer network mapping, retail data analytics, tenant representation and rental benchmarking.

Track was a social media startup that was a forerunner in the geolocation tech space. We developed proprietary geolocation algorithms that optimised locational accuracy while minimising mobile battery consumption which effectively allowed social tracking. After working on Track throughout my last year of University and a year afterward we sold it.
