- Responsible for daily operational activities for 6-8 Cipriani locations for both short term and long term facets including two property closures- Manage stewarding departments, purchasing, banquet events, housemen operations, engineering and R&M, plan, schedule, and organize work to ensure proper coverage - Ensure compliance with Company SOPs, SLA permits, accident/loss prevention programs, MSDS training, and all health/sanitation standards and regulations set forth by the DOHMH- Review, monitor and report on expenses, financial statements and sales and activities reports to assist in controlling costs while balancing a staffing and supplies level to ensure quality service and maximum productivity- Oversee a team of 200 colleagues, daily operations, production, service delivery, managing the activities of sales and distribution departments and establishing long-term goals for the organization- Determine needs, reduce costs and analyze areas requiring improvement to maximize efficiency and improve profitability- Develop/implement procedures for managing the quality of housekeeping and laundry services. Schedule routine inspections of FOH, BOH and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment,operational linens, public areas, ballrooms, restaurants, etc. are in adeqaute condition to meet guest satisfaction. - Manage a team of 70 colleagues to ensure responsibility for all phases of the laundry, producing approximately 5.25 million pounds annually and manage valet and wardrobe production along with all phases of outsourcing including dry-cleaning and hotel spa- Recommend and/or initiate salary, disciplinary action and/or staffing/human resources-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies and maintain compliance with Local 6 Hotel Motel Trades Council Collective Bargaining Agreement.- Oversee the quality of product produced, ensuring that all equipment is in good, working order and that the department is operating in accordance to OSHA and state safety regulations.- Process paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, conduct and oversee inventory of linen, compile production information for reporting purposes and perform forecasting and department budget on a monthly and annual basis- Ensure fiscal responsibility through payroll processing, check-book accounting, cost containment, and purchase order procedures. Maximize revenue opportunities by upselling products and services and understanding customer desires.- Plan, facilitate and supervise the delivery of housekeeping and laundry services for the entire facility. Define and monitor task assignments for Laundry, Valet and Wardrobe staff. Establish cleaning schedules and assignments, respond to emergency situations, prioritize work, order supplies, and participate in budget preparation.- Conduct regular department meetings with staff to inform them of pertinent information, such as safety in the workplace, hotel events, retraining, and guest/occupancy.
