Main responsibilities: Having started the ‘step-up’ programme to become a team leader I have been exposed to different functions of the store. Including processing of delivers and working in the cash office; responsible for counting the stores takings, sorting the registers floats and counting the safe.I am often asked to walk the floor with the manager to write down moves and adjustments which are required in order to follow the most recent “flow” and merchandise presentation guides set by the company. I am also a member of the “scamp team” who on a weekly basis mark down stock prices in certain areas set out by the company. As a main accessories associate I also hold the keys to the jewellery sales cabinet. I have also managed the “flow” team who stock the shelves and taken them through the accessories department to explain how stock should be presented and where it should be positioned. I have also taken on a new martial role during the current circumstances to patrol the flow of customers in and out of the store as well as monitoring sanitation of equipment to ensure safety to the public. Other responsibilities: Liaising and with customers in order to maintain high levels of customer service to ensure the best shopping experience. Handling money while working on tills. I also stock the shop floor when new stock arrives and maintain to make sure the store always looks its best.Working in Tk Maxx has provided me with confidence and the ability to communicate and work well as a team. Whilst also valuing my role as an effective individual worker in the achievement of larger team and store achievements.
