I provide a full suite of insights and reporting to NatWest Group Executives and key stakeholders on the Bank’s Cost Transformation progress and crucial cost reduction initiatives. I conduct a regular review and challenge of all cost initiatives, and make sure the benefits are realised with a focus on building sustainable and multi-year cost savings. I played a key role in driving the adoption of a bank wide cost initiative tracking and management process that enabled transparency, accountability, and oversight on the delivery of NatWest’s Cost Strategy. Key Achievements:• Conducted cost oversight of the phased withdrawal of NatWest from the Republic of Ireland (Ulster Bank Ireland DAC decommission). Facilitated a regular Executive Streeting Group and subsequent Working Group reviewing complex data, providing analysis on key delivery milestones, benefits, and cost impact. • Established a culture of transparency and accountability on costs and resource plans across the organisation. Produced monthly key insights on individual business areas performance and any emerging risks and opportunities. • Simplified and launched an automated reporting solution to track cost reduction progress and highlight areas of concern.• Delivered the required focus on cost management that enabled NatWest to meet external cost guidance for the last three years.• Managed and inspired new Interns and Graduates through the NatWest Early Careers programme.
