I am the technical director for a managed services provider. I am often filling the role of liaison / sales-engineer due to my skill when speaking directly with business owners and stake-holders. I have more than a decade of experience helping businesses ensure that they are using the tools available to them across their IT infrastructure to their highest and best use. I am comfortable outlining and presenting a business case to C-level team members while ensuring the discussion remains concise, tactful, and easy to understand. I have a proven track record of helping companies identify and address issues with their existing business processes, specifically misutilization of technology: analyzing complex processes piece by piece, defining requirements for success, designing/budgeting necessary changes, managing implementation, and monitoring the long-term effectiveness of the project. I regularly help businesses identify practices which lead to losses that are hard to quantify. I present them with bottom-line examples of these “indirect” losses and ROI breakdowns of potential fixes. This skill set is valuable independent of the department, team, or process it is applied to. I help increase revenue by reducing or eliminating losses and increasing the effectiveness of existing tools using the “full stack” approach of analysis, remediation, and tracking.In addition to managing our company’s internal choices of technology and associated processes, I’ve led projects creating tight integrations across multiple business units, technology platforms, and vendors for our customers. Consequently, being able to rapidly gain a working knowledge of previously unfamiliar processes or tools is a requirement. My previous experience working as a cyber security analyst reinforced my ability to work on detail-oriented problems while my time working as a technical director has deepened my ability to maintain a healthy perspective of the overall “10,000 ft. view” in relation to the projects I’ve been tasked with improving.My attention to detail, ability to communicate clearly regardless of the target audience, and my refusal to accept sub-par results has positioned me at the front of a multitude of successful projects. Outside of work, I soak up all the time I can with my lovely wife and daughter. I love playing all sorts of games (video, board, card, etc.). I’m a cinephile. I’ve found traveling with my wife to be tremendously rewarding and leads to lots of personal growth.
