• Reviewer for nonincendive protection method standards UL 121201, CSA C22.2#213, and industrial control panel standards UL 508A, and CSA C22.2#14
• Review project engineers reports, test data, and construction review
• Voting member of NGV (Natural Gas Vehicle) committee for standards relating to natural gas compression and dispensing.

• Evaluate products for compliance to hazardous location requirements for safety in locations of Class I & II, Division 1 & 2.
• Responsible for issuance of ETL Listing reports, Classification reports, LPC (Limited Production Certification) reports, and Field labeling to Explosion-proof/Flameproof, Nonincendive, Intrinsically safe, and Purge.
• Perform construction review and generate list of critical components for hazardous location safety.
• Evaluate suitability of critical components for use in the specified hazardous environment based on protection concepts, construction, and proper assembly.
• Setup and perform explosion-testing for samples requiring non-transmission of internal ignition tests.
• Data analysis to determine failure points.

• Evaluate industrial equipment for electrical safety compliance, responsible for issuance of ETL Listing reports, LPC (Limited Production Certification) reports, and Field reports for industrial standards.
• Setup testing apparatus, determine appropriate required tests for each sample, perform and monitor testing of industrial machinery.
• Perform construction review and generate list of critical components for electrical safety.
• Responsible for daily progress updates, maintaining schedule, reviewing schematic drawings and providing feedback.
