• Evaluate products for compliance to hazardous location requirements for safety in locations of Class I & II, Division 1 & 2. • Responsible for issuance of ETL Listing reports, Classification reports, LPC (Limited Production Certification) reports, and Field labeling to Explosion-proof/Flameproof, Nonincendive, Intrinsically safe, and Purge protection methods.• Perform construction review and generate list of critical components for hazardous location safety. • Evaluate suitability of critical components for use in the specified hazardous environment based on protection concepts, construction, and proper assembly.• Setup and perform explosion-testing for samples requiring non-transmission of internal ignition tests.• Data analysis to determine failure points.• Responsible for draft reports, daily progress updates, maintaining schedule, reviewing schematic drawings and providing feedback. • Approximately 80% Travel
