Robert, affectionately known as “Khalil,” is a driven junior honors finance student at Howard University with a keen interest in Management Consulting, Law, and Public Policy. Passionate about integrating analytical skills with strategic thinking, Robert is committed to leveraging his academic and extracurricular experiences to drive impactful change. Guided by his personal mantra, “Do it scared,” Khalil believes in the importance of being fearless when challenging the status quo and breaking glass ceilings. He embraces problem-solving and navigating dynamic landscapes with this same fearlessness, resilience, and creativity.During the summer of 2023, Khalil expanded his expertise through the Future Leaders Fellowship, powered by the African American Mayors Association, where he conducted original policy research and gained insights into local government functions and public policy advocacy. At Howard University, Khalil exemplifies leadership as the President of the award-winning Howard University Speech and Debate Team, Alumni Relations Chair and Junior Class Representative of the School of Business Executive Leadership Honors Program, a 2023-2024 Senator representing over 950 School of Business students in the Undergraduate Student Association, the Director of Fundraising for the School of Business Executive Council, a member of Howard University’s chapter of Scholars of Finance, and an inaugural member of the 2024-2025 HU Consulting cohort.Beyond campus, Khalil is an AltFinance Fellow, ELC Scholar, CBCF Scholar, and UNCF Scholar, showcasing his dedication to financial and leadership development. He is also a tutor with Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, where he teaches financial literacy practices to middle school children, and volunteers with Harriette Tubman Elementary School, having completed over 150 hours of service. Khalil’s commitment to academic excellence is demonstrated by his consistent place on the Dean’s list and his 3.96 cumulative GPA.Khalil is interested in the business, legal, and political fields and is open to Summer 2025 internships in consulting, law, or government that will allow him to further explore these sectors.
