Brothers in Law Inc. (BiL) is a student-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in Washington, D.C., at Howard University School of Law.
Our Mission
BiL's mission is to diversify the legal profession by providing underrepresented students with a tangible pipeline into it through friendship, mentorship, professional development, community service, and scholarship.
Our Purpose
To serve as a resource center for all underrepresented individuals currently in the legal profession, those pursuing legal or higher education, and any individual who seeks to advance the socioeconomic status of underserved communities.
BiL develops students from early childhood and beyond who are committed to being social engineers who embody and advance the principles of brotherly love, anti-sexism, anti-racism, anti-misogynoir, and LGBTQIA+ allyship.
