About Robert Kreps
After graduating high school in 2003, I attended Kellogg Community College. For 3 years I took classes ranging from CISCO network training, to 2D animation, to piano lessons. After graduating with an Associates in General Studies, I looked to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh's Game Art & Design program.I graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2009 with a B.A. in Game Art & Design. During that time I was entered into a team based level design competition for the Eerie Horror Film festival, which won several awards, and took part in an in-school Unreal Tournament mod.Since graduation I have worked on many game titles as a freelance, am credited in several large movie productions, and am now at Cyan as a full time game artist.

CurrentThe Starry Expanse project is a fan project dedicated to recreating the classic PC game Riven. I was brought on as an artist, but since the team is so small I have come to fill many roles. Examples of some of the things I've contributed include:- Modeling and Texturing many art assets- Critiquing others' art submissions- Documenting and setting precedence.
