Currently Robert is a solo Reggae artist and owns the record label Reggae Speaks which offers a variety of artist development & Pro Audio services. Robert Ledesma's music influences include Gregory Isaacs, Mikey Dread, The Cure, Roy Orbison, Los Apson and Los Dandy’s to name a few. He has performed at California Roots Festival, Reggae in the Hills, Queen Mary Shoreline and many prominent venues up and down California. Robert’s first solo album will drop in May of 2017; the album is named "Any Moment" as there are always good and bad things in life. And no matter how comfortable you get or how much "success" you have, things can change at any moment. There is a song named "Right Now" with a reference line which says "Life can change at any moment, trust in yourself and keep it open" referring to always keeping an open mind. The album is produced by Gary Larason whom Robert met via Instagram and was intrigued by his "older" sounding reggae instrumentals. They discussed their background and when Robert told him he wanted a Mikey Dread/Gregory Isaacs style sound and Gary knocked it out of the park. Overall, the album will not just have this message but a powerful reminder that we all go through love, lost friendships etc. and we are all the same at the end of the day.Robert began his journey emerging from the musically diverse San Francisco Bay Area.

Emerging from the musically diverse San Francisco Bay Area where he was born and raised, Robert Ledesma developed a solid background in the music industry before evolving into the talented and multi-dimensional artist that he is today. Robert’s love for music was ignited at a very young age as his father’s vinyl collection opened up a world of sounds that would later influence his own unique style. Robert Ledesma spent a good portion of his music career as an audio engineer, a talent he cultivated while spending countless hours in his West Oakland Recording studio located inside of the Soundwave Studios building for 9 years. Robert gives credit to his high school “Intro to Rock” teacher Mr. Tom Lilienthal for helping to get his foot in the door in the music industry. Lilienthal built a state-of-the-art recording studio and offered the very first digital recording class selecting Robert to be one of 15 hand picked students. Within a few months Robert was leading the class in full on recording sessions. Robert began his journey when he partnered with an international Greek American DJ and founded a music label. Their business offered recording and mixing services for over 30 albums in Oakland, California before expanding to Las Vegas, Nevada where they managed 9 major Las Vegas DJs. One of their biggest productions was a Tribute Album to the Boston Red Sox which featured 4 GRAMMY AWARD WINNERS including Samuelle (“Lean on Me”), Tiny & Ralph Tavares of the legendary Multi-Platinum & Gold supergroup, TAVARES, (“More Than A Woman”, “Heaven Must be Missing an Angel”, “She’s Gone”), and Tim Carter (Cedarhouse) along with other notable performing stars. Since 2003, Robert was involved in the production of the first three Clear Conscience albums and in 2010 Robert Ledesma became part of the Bay Area based band as a vocalist which had several iTunes and Billboard top hits from 2003-2014.
