This district includes over 20,000 students in 20 schools. Our plan became a model for other districts in the area.• Served as the Operations Division Liaison to the Oakland County Computer Services (CLEMIS) NetRMS (network-based records management) system, including meeting with CLEMIS, training, implementing, administering, troubleshooting, and coaching users on the system. Coordinated and implemented related department-wide training and testing before the system went on-line. • Conducted manpower allocation study based on historical call for service data and declining staffing projections. Developed a solution that allows multiple variable inputs and determines the most effective and efficient staff deployment across multiple shifts. • Developed and cultivated an email-based communication system to alert residents and businesses to crime trends and enhance police / community relations. Grew the program from less than 30 contacts to thousands.• Planned Police Department response to numerous significant events, assuring adequate staffing to maintain public safety while remaining within budget. • Led the City of Troy, Michigan, Police Department’s Crime Prevention Program to national recognition as the 5th safest city in America in 2006, and the top-ten safest cities with population between 75,000 and 99,999 for four straight years, including #6 in 2005.
