- Creates annual audition plan to identify, evaluate and recruit professional talent. Develops annual audition calendar, manages execution of audition processes, oversees the marketing and advertising and responsible for audition expenses aligning with the budget.- Makes all employment offers, negotiated rates, oversees contracting and the artistic scheduling of all union talent.- Works with Labor Relations to make sure all union guidelines are followed when casting and scheduling union talent. - As the Producing Artistic Director, I was responsible for conceiving, developing, and implementing the artistic vision and focus of TexARTS and oversaw all programming, administrative, marketing, production, and financial functions of the organization.- Represented and advocated for TexARTS to continually enhance its image, visibility, and influence across the community. This includes taking an active role in soliciting corporate donations, sponsorships, and individual donations. - Created a season comprised of approximately ten youth productions and four professional productions, as well as numerous cabarets, workshops, and special events including annual fundraising gala and ensured all programming was of the highest quality and aligned with the spirit of the organizations mission. Developed and implemented curriculum for youth performing arts academy and the youth educational productions.- Hired, negotiated, contracted, and effectively managed all full time and part time staff, instructors, and production teams, including contracted labor and production volunteers.- Developed and administrated the annual, production and event specific budgets for the organization. Responsible for tracking administrative expenses, production income and expense, fundraising revenue, box office income and other earned revenue.
