Together with cross-border movements to cover positions in any given market.- US/ Canada/ Mexico: Full expertise across these markets with special expertise for DTC and CDS settlements for all equities , bonds, repos. Coverage until market close 15.00 EST.- UK/ France ( including PAREL)/ Germany/Belgium/ Netherlands/ Portugal/ Italy/ Scandies/ Swiss/ Austria: Full coverage including pre-matching, fails management, stock and cash reconciliation for both main firm and prime broker custody clients.- Gilts/ US (equities and bonds) full coverage .- Pre-matching and fails for repos, stock lending and collateral management across all markets.- Ad-hoc tasks completed in a timely fashion as and when required.- Consistently looking to improve the systems and flows.- Full coverage of Asia-Pacific markets equities and bonds Markets covered: Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Korea, Indonesia. Covering early shift till Hong Kong close.

Responsibilities included full settlement package for Certificates of Deposit, Gilts, T-bills and DBV’s, including pre-matching, settlement, stock and cash reconciliation and stock borrowing when required; settling approx £3bln daily.• Handled the entire settlement of £3.6bln IPO in Rosneft achieving 100% settlement across Russian local, Euroclear (Reg S) and DTC (144a) • Controlled US Equity settlements including all ADR / GDR conversions for Principle business, monitored and ensured correct fees were charged against any discounts received.• Monitored STP rate worldwide, ensuring low rate markets were investigated and monthly reporting to senior management: average monthly rate of 97.6%• Managed a four man team ensuring full matching for Cash and Repo Bond trades across two Clearstream and two Euroclear accounts, handling 350 - 400 unmatched trades per day• Developed an in-house matching tool linking to Creation Online (Clearsteam product)• Undertook full 1-2-1 interactions with individual team members on a weekly basis, and bi-weekly team meetings, reporting back to senior management.

Controlled all ADR/ GDR conversion settlements; position movements between DTC and Euroclear / Cedel; reconciliation, payment and negotiation of ADR fees and tips with all depositary agents

Responsible for the US and ADR settlements department; all aspects of UK equity settlements including bought and sold transfers TALISMAN and non- TALISMAN residual stocks

Progressed through normal clearing grading structure and upon leaving had reached Grade 3 in control of charged and uncharged securities together with foreign payments in all forms
