In addition, between 2005 and 2011, HS-15 was tasked with developing and deploying the 2515th Navy Air Ambulance Detachment, the first and only U.S. Navy air ambulance/aeromedical evacuation unit ever commissioned.• Led up to 250 personnel and managed over $140 million in aviation assets through operations, maintenance, and ground/aviation safety programs for a U.S. Navy aircraftcarrier based helicopter squadron. • Conducted in-depth analysis of critical emergency procedures required onboard U.S. Navy helicopters which produced a 55% decrease in tasks requiring memorization and therefore significant reduction in aircrew cognitive workload.
