I am a first year student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, majoring in Finance. I have a passion for solving problems, leading teams, and serving those in my community. I have demonstrated these attributes in a variety of situations, beginning in High School when I was selected and participated in Indiana's Hoosier Boys State premier leadership development simulation. In this program, I ran for simulated political seats alongside my peers winning a delegate spot in the House of Representatives. In this role, I collaborated with representatives in the 'House' and 'Senate' to create bills that increased the quality of life for all of the camp participants, and branched out to exterior governing bodies to embed these bills into camp culture. Now at Indiana University, I have continued to seek out opportunities to strengthen these values. I am gaining quality leadership development experience through the IU Army ROTC program, in which I am working with my peers weekly in the classroom, as well as in leadership labs, to understand what it means to be a professional and operational leader. On top of this, I have maintained all A's in my business coursework at IU, and have taken advantage of the resources the Kelley School of Business offers to broaden my horizons and navigate the business world. As a first year student, I am looking to grow my involvement by joining the Financial Services Club, and collaborating with like minded students to strengthen my interest for serving those in my community. With a strong foundation in leadership and problem solving, and a passion for service, I look forward to exploring opportunities within wealth management to showcase my strengths and connect with those who align with my values.
