About Robert M. Seaton

Throughout my 20 years of airport experience and almost 17 years in fleet, I have mastered the ability to develop and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and I am guided by my customer-centric focus. I have always found opportunity in challenges and believe that it leads to growth. My detailed approach to process-driven execution and delivery of strategic plans allows me to consistently achieve the most efficient results.I have worked with vendors and stakeholders to build requirements for various systems and processes, including the asset management system for fleet maintenance. Using fleet maintenance and service data, I recommend and forecast capital replacement of assets. I am adept at being agile in the dynamic airport environment, while always ensuring compliance with necessary regulations. As past co-lead of the GTAA’s DE&I committee and current Co-Chair of the Black Professionals at the GTAA-Employee Resource Group, I have initiated thoughtful and difficult conversations with staff at all levels of the organization. By building safe spaces and trust, I've used the data gathered to develop measurable outcomes, develop strategies to advance initiatives and support in the commitment to change. After over 20 years of honing analytical and problem-solving skills in a professional environment, I have embarked on an academic journey at the University of Toronto to solidify these skills, with the goal of working in the space of Human Resources, DEI or Organizational Culture.
