Near Term Forecasting Megascopic Model Development - Led team in innovative large scale detailed models including the NE Corridor covering the states of Virginia north through Maine with a resolution of 14,500 zones and 1.8 million links, modeling each hour of the week for use in forecasting of travel times. Included innovations such as intersection delays, trucks, and tour-based trip generation and distribution. This model is being scaled to cover the entire USA.Mentoring and training of staff in transportation modeling. Developed, enhanced, distributed, supported and applied TMODEL travel demand software with a user base of over 600 site licenses throughout North America and internationally. Created travel demand modeling enhancements including Multi-Point Assignment (MPA), integrated emissions calculator, and automated LOS analysis. Developed and supported traffic analysis tools of NCAP, NCAP Manager, TGAP, and LPlate. NCAP and NCAP Manager included multiple methods of intersection capacity analysis and facilitated large batch processing for EIS analyses. TGAP combined field data collection and analysis of directional arrival times and resulting gap availability. LPlate enabled origin-destination analysis including travel and dwell time. Developed or assisted with over 80 models in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, USA, and Venezuela and many others through providing highly respected support services. Developed and instructed transportation modeling training workshops in Australia

Developed transportation analysis software TMODEL for travel demand forecasting and NCAP intersection capacity analysis for microcomputers including Apple, MS-DOS, and CP/M.
