CurrentBecame the lead of the development of the Core platform - responsible for the development of the secure services that power DIGISEQ's solution. Led and managed a small team of between 2-4 people utilising SCRUM Agile methodology using a Gitflow Workflow and utilising JIRA and confluence for project management.Was the primary developer designing and implementing a solution to integrate with various payment solutions including BanContact and USIO.Spearheaded the development of a fundamental rewrite of the Core platform to ensure compliance with PCI-CP and PCI-DSS standards. This included utilisation of RabbitMQ to provide messaging between high security services and non-secure services.Architected revisions to the Core platform to improve modularity and maintainability – allowing a gradual transition from a monolithic platform to a microservice based architecture.Worked directly with the CTO to architect and develop various systems to meet business needs throughout the lifespan of the businessActively contributed on various discussions on overall business strategy and workflow management, providing a technical and developer perspective on how DIGISEQ can enhance its business.Collaborated with clients and partners to facilitate the integration of their APIs into our Core platformLed a large-scale rework of the legacy Core platform to upgrade to latest tech stacksCollaborated with the DevOps team to integrate a Jenkins deployment pipeline as well as various solutions for deployment to ensure PCI-CP complianceDeveloped cryptographically secure solutions utilising both BouncyCastle and Thales HSMs, with significant experience in symmetric cryptography algorithms such as 3DES and AES, as well as asymmetric cryptography algorithms such as RSA, and Elliptic Curve
