Became the lead of the development of the Core platform - responsible for the development of the secure services that power DIGISEQ's solution. Led and managed a small team of between 2-4 people utilising SCRUM Agile methodology using a Gitflow Workflow and utilising JIRA and confluence for project management.Was the primary developer designing and implementing a solution to integrate with various payment solutions including BanContact and USIO.Spearheaded the development of a fundamental rewrite of the Core platform to ensure compliance with PCI-CP and PCI-DSS standards. Joined during the company's initial founding to develop the initial core platform for DIGISEQ's servicesRole was supporting the development the development of DIGISEQ's internal systems in Java and other supporting applications in conjunction with the rest of the development team. This involved heavy exposure to industry standards and specifications such as GlobalPlatform and EMV as well as third party hardware and software integration in a high security environment.

Provided Java programming support to first-year students as well as feedback on courseworkIdentified issues in student’s code to provide clear feedback on improvements to be made and how to fix issues

This was a summer internship with the following duties:- Analysed and produced a brief report to the company manager on ways that the company could improve its website page ranking in Google page rankings.- Acquired research skills to understand how Google ranked pages and how to apply this knowledge to the company’s existing web infrastructure.- Trained an administrator in the use of Microsoft Project for task delegation.
