Stage 1 was recently completed in April 2017.The project exemplifies the current best practice model for Court Buildings, both nationally and internationally. The project will be the exemplar for all future court buildings in Australia, and be the model for which all new courts will designed.My responsibilities include construction contract management, complex stakeholder engagement and consultation, co-ordination of Emergency Management and Business Continuity Planning, commissioning, transition to operation and defect management activities.

My Design Engineer role morphed into a Project Management and Design position as the years passed. Works loads increased without the associated staff increases, and this required changes in the way work was delivered. I worked with the design, documentation and project management of many of the city’s capital works projects. Delivered the revamp Bay Street Port Melbourne streetscape, which created the platform for Bay Street as it is known today. This involved the widening of footpaths and reduction of traffic lanes. Managed the evolution of projects from business case through design and delivery.

I worked on the project management and preliminary design of works for the expansion of the Optus Communications cellular telephone network. Work included site selection for new base stations; preparation of town planning submissions; and management of the architectural, structural and civil design for each site for approval by Optus.
