Dr Roberto H Parada is an Associate Professor in Adolescent Development, Wellbeing, Behaviour and Pedagogical Studies in the School of Education, Western Sydney University. Dr Parada has been involved in large scale adolescent research specifically focusing on bullying interventions, self-concept and population based mental health interventions and has both published and presented widely in these areas. He has extensive experience in the development of psychometrically robust measures to use with adolescents including the Adolescent Peer Relations Instrument (APRI) one of the most robust measures of bullying used in research worldwide. As registered psychologist with close to 20 years in clinical practice Dr Roberto Parada ’s research and academic interest focus on school bullying, child and adolescent mental health, Australian Aboriginal youth wellbeing, positive learning environments, school mental health, and the application of cognitive and behavioural interventions in schools.
