Business Development Project Specialist
CurrentIdentifies and manages innovative projects for business development, including new business opportunities to support Ascend’s strategic growth objectives while continuously improving resources and communications across internal business units. Implements project processes/workflows for team collaboration and ensures tasks are completed within budget and on schedule.Collaborates with stakeholders across the business to plan and execute robust, effective business development initiatives.Serves as lead account manager for membership partner groups in designated territory to support membership and strategic growth objectives, and increase revenue.Serves as program leader for underserved requests/submissions; identifies potential areas of expansion within our service area (including future facility plans) as defined by NCUA; executes required facilities test for initial regulatory approval; For areas that pass initial test, researches and reports on the defined area and facilitates internal stakeholder requests for information (e.g. marketing, data and financial analytics, executive reporting); compiles submission per regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Manages partner engagement opportunities. Conducts professional presentations on Ascend products, services and benefits; collaborates with branch, retirement and investment services, real estate and commercial business teams to provide subject matter expertise and account opening/presentations as needed; manages lead generation/referrals.Effectively uses sales management programs to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness. Maintains accurate records of sales leads and membership partner groups, including statistics, contacts, and activities. Prepares regular status reports.Partners with, coaches and empowers branch staff on business, membership and community group engagement opportunities within their respective market area.
