I worked in a team as freelance engineering consultants for a company that was contracted to manufacture 350.000 reusable face masks to fight the COVD-19 pandemic for the Guardia Civil, a national law enforcement agency in Spain. My roles included selecting adequate parts for the project adhering to the budget, including motors, electronics, power system and build materials, design of the prototype in CAD and finally the build of the prototype, using various technologies, such as additive manufacturing.
