Engr. Roberto Grilli took seat as DZ Engineering’s General Manager in January 2017. He has, over fifteen (15) years of experience in the motorsports and lighting industries, responsible for both commercial and project management in integrated solutions for race track circuits, sports venues lighting, museums and places of worship architectural lighting.He acquired extensive knowledge in the Motorsport field as a designer and project manager for energy & lighting systems with the Valerio Maioli Group from 1999 and, in 2009, led the Company’s Singapore branch. In 2010, he moved up the corporate ladder as the Manager for the entire Motorsport Department. Starting May 2011, he has been holding the same task for DZ Engineering srl.He has an extensive experience in the design, development and in handling innovative and pioneering projects such as the lighting system for the world’s first Formula 1 Night Race in Singapore, Power & Communications systems for street circuits in Asia and the architectural lighting for UNESCO sites in Italy.Responsible for the Firm’s Strategic Business Development - synergizing different business units eyeing on the goal as opportunity-driven in the ASEAN and European markets. Lead driver for collaborations with R&D department for the development of innovative products and solutions (lighting, power and communications) for clients and generate new business prospects for the company’s next phase of growth. Oversaw and a catalyst in marketing decisions, public relations and communications with the media in Headquarters (Italy) and in the Branch Office (Singapore); a contributory force in building the company’s brand that has contributed to the growth in the sense of increased number of clients.
