    From 2007 while working in practice I had been developing a solution to automate, using OCR, data input and reconciliation for accountants. I worked on multiple prototypes using OCR and output in excel using VBA. From there I engaged a programmer and mapped out every step to create the Autorec solution and eventually started Woods Whelan Limited in 2009 and achieved Enterprise Ireland funding (PROPEL programme) for myself to go full time, and rolled out Autorec(Automatic Reconciliation) to the UK and Irish market. I successfully sold shares in the the selling agent, WoodsWhelan Limited to OCRex (http://ocrex.com/home) in 2011 but retain all intellectual property rights to the Autorec solution and any offshoot products .
