I advised management on a full range of legal matters that involved risk management, preparation of corporate agreements and commercial contracts, oversight and handling of litigation, labor disputes, regulatory compliance, and tax matters. I was a core member of the business development team and collaborated with senior executives to develop the corporation's best business practices and corporate governance structure.

I founded and ran a successful general and corporate legal practice for over 10 years. During this time I served as outside legal counsel for many large manufacturing, distribution, and service industry clients. As a Principal and Senior Attorney, I oversaw all aspects of commercial and civil litigation, including catastrophic loss claims and complex insurance coverage matters. I advocated for clients throughout pre-litigation negotiations, trial, mediation, arbitration, and post-trial matters. I interviewed and prepared clients, fact witnesses and expert witnesses for deposition and trial testimony. I developed business and client relationships in furtherance of firm growth, and mentored and trained staff members. Moreover, as a Principal and Senior Attorney, I negotiated with client vendors, suppliers, and distributors to execute purchase order agreements designed to mitigate risks and reduce client costs. I performed in-depth legal research and analysis, drafted legal filings, and prepared a variety of agreements and commercial documents. During this time, I was specifically selected as outside counsel for multiple large corporations for high profile and complex matters. I effectively managed all litigation as a key strategist and leader of legal teams. I also collaborated with corporate clients to develop risk mitigation strategies, develop cost-effective commercial strategies, and minimize legal exposures.

As Senior Trial Counsel, I drove all aspects of complex litigation as a lead trail attorney with a focus on product liability matters, catastrophic loss, complex multi-layer insurance coverage disputes, construction claims, and government party lawsuits. I excelled at leading and mentoring junior attorneys and paralegals, argued matters before federal and state courts, conducted legal research, prepared legal filings, motions and memorandum. I also prepared commercial contracts including vendor/supplier agreements, distribution agreements, limitation of liability and indemnity agreements, release agreements and confidentiality (NDA) agreements.

I successfully tendered the defense and indemnification of several alleged multi-million dollar claims involving manufacturing client. I assisted client in recovery of successor liability action involving Business Purchase Agreement. I prepared detailed accurate litigation budget reports and executed legal strategies for cost-efficient resolutions of civil litigation matters.

I handled a variety of diverse litigation, including product liability, aviation mishaps, fraud, insurance defense, subrogation, and multi-district litigation. Worked with cross-functional teams and departments for successful resolution of high exposure claims and complex litigation.
