- Assist the Network Engineering team with the coordination and implementation of network upgrades and the general improvement of WOW!'s core network infrastructure.- Assist the Operations team with day-to-day "firefighting"; determine root cause and resolution of complex network issues as they arise.- Coordinate, configure, and deliver fully functional ALU solutions, in various markets, to the Commercial Engineering group in preparation for the migration/addition of high-speed business customers.- Lead, develop, and coordinate a plan for the migration of current layer 2 networks to a VPLS solution in order to resolve un-routable IP space and to decommission non-standard rings of EX switches in various markets.

AT&T’s Southeast Network – IP/MPLS Core and Edge Certification------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Certification of new hardware and software deployed in the production network. - Generate test plans and related documentation for the test cycle. - Construct and configure test beds to match the production network. - Configure test gear to emulate CPE, PE, or P devices and the various types of traffic. - Write Perl scripts to help automate the testing process. - Execute tests, analyze data, and record the results. - Assist with the development and testing of network design concepts. - Plan, develop, and implement tests with close interaction from the lead project engineer and vendors. - Execute tests to ensure that design specification, levels of service, and performance are achieved, and that out of specification results are identified, documented, and reported. - Maintain the appearance, functionality, availability, and security of the test lab.

Enterprise Market Customer Base – National----------------------------------------------------------------- - Conduct pervasive Wi-Fi site surveys at various public/private schools/universities, hotels, office buildings, warehouses, etc. - On-site installation and configuration of the Xirrus WLAN Array and implementation into customer networks. - Provide Wi-Fi technical support for customer issues related to the Xirrus WLAN Array.

Layer 3 IP/MPLS Core and Edge Laboratory---------------------------------------------------------------- - Assess specific needs for projects slated for the engineering lab. - Maintain the appearance, functionality, availability, and security of the engineering lab. - Develop, document, maintain, communicate, and execute methods and procedures to aid in smooth and controlled insertion and removal of project test beds. - Develop and implement engineering test bed plans with close interaction from the lead project engineer and vendors. - Assist in testing to ensure that design specification, levels of service, and performance are achieved, and that out of specification results are identified, documented, and reported. - At the conclusion of testing, tear down and reclaim test bed components for the engineering lab or return to vendor.
