Street, Los Angeles, CA 2009 HEAD EXPEDITOR Hired open a new, revolutionary restaurant offering ‘street food’ from all over the world; comprised of a 110-seat capacity. • Worked side-by-side with nationally renowned chef, Susan Feniger; serving as part of small opening team. • Played a key role in opening a progressive-cuisine restaurant; establishing back-of-the-house protocol, policies, procedures, and systems leveraging industry best practices to build a solid foundation for growth.

Crespi Carmelite High School, Encino, CA 2000 – 2002 HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERProvided leadership and mentoring to high school students; teaching Spanish and music appreciation, coaching Junior Varsity basketball team, and motivating students to become the leader of their own lives.

Recruited to open up a Wolfgang Puck restaurant with a 300-seat capacity, fine dining, French-Chinese cuisine level at Caesar’s Palace; downstairs level encompassed a 200-seat casual dining experience. • Worked side-by-side with globally renowned Wolfgang Puck and David Robbins; serving as a key member of the opening team; co-establishing Standard Operating Protocol (SOPs), procedures, and systems for the restaurant. • Appointed as Head Expeditor; liaising between back-of-the-house and 15-member server/food runner staff to ensure consistent quality, timeliness, and accuracy in meal delivery.

COOK, 1998 • HOST, 1997 • OPENING TRAINER (Reno, NV), 1998 • BUSSER, 1996 Transitioned between back-of-the-house and front-of-the-house operations for a 250- seat capacity restaurant; serving in numerous roles to quickly broaden experience and skills. • Selected as Opening Trainer for new location; serving as member of an opening training team that was flown to Reno, NV, to train new staff. Trained bussing staff of five on operating protocol and industry best practices. • Implemented company’s first ‘to-go’ program; contributing to a 10-15% incremental increase in annual revenues by implementing and managing well-received program. • Developed a solid understanding of back-of-the-house operations; transitioning in a cook role and responsible for cooking appetizers, salads, and entrée items on the grill. • Mentored and trained all new hires; taking on a leadership role at a young age to develop a cohesive team.
