I have been a counseller, therapist and teacher for over 30 years. Most of my work has been in Australia, however more recently I have presented in Thailand and presented at an Singapore .I have been teaching evidence based meditation practices to clients since 1980, utilized Ericksonian approaches to change ( including hypnosis ) since 2004. Mindfulness has been a foundation of this work, and I share the fruits of its practice in work with individuals and organizations.

This is my two day a week position ... working with MBCT, ACT and Solution Oriented Ericksonian approaches...assisting clients post acute hospitalization, with chronic diseases, ageing and issues of grief. loss.anxiety and depression.

Responsible for development of bereavement counselling project at Robina hospital... providing brief interventions to recently bereaved people for the Gold Coast area serviced by Robina Hospital

I worked as part of the counseling and therapy team doing individual and group work. The focus included helping clients who were suffering from depression, anxiety, grief and trauma. The work also involved the development of innovative intervention programs relevant to our target group.
