As a fourth-generation construction professional, I know construction, and even more so, I love construction. My father had me on construction sites before I was legal to work; I have done all aspects of physical construction starting with surveying, forming slabs, tying steel, forming and pouring elevator shafts, sheathing of roofs, interior framing build out and up to high end interior finishes with white glove treatment. For many years, I traveled across America calling upon the executives of the leading hotel development companies as a hotel renovator utilizing high performance, permeable, textured coatings to solve the constant issues with mold & mildew as it relates to sick building syndrome and poor indoor air quality. In 2000, I became an independent manufacturer’s representative for several national manufacturers of high-end construction materials and had to learn multiple different building materials at one time and how they interface with one another to form a successful project. In 2009 during the recession, I formed my own decorative remodeling company servicing the luxury residential and commercial markets of Sarasota and the barriers islands.
