Human Resources Manager
CurrentPlaying a small part in the recovery of our patients by supporting 650+ employees with their HR needs at the #1 rated physical rehabilitation hospital in California by US News. Oversee a team of HR professionals supporting all HR functions including, employee relations, performance management, policy development and regulatory compliance.Provide guidance and support to department managers and employees regarding employee relations,disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee performance by training managers to coach and provide feedback to employees; addressing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling employees and supervisors.Leads sensitive workplace investigations into employee grievances and allegations of misconduct. Champions employee safety initiatives and leads Safety Committee meetings and discussions.Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements and maintaining records.Supports all other HR team members in areas of LOA management and tracking, Worker Comp Claim management, Recruitment, Payroll and Unemployment inquiries Assist with recruitment efforts, and prepare employees for assignments by facilitating and conducting orientation and training programs.
