Employee Relations.• Support employees and supervisors through problem solving Employee Relations issues. • Responsible for conducting detailed investigations to complex employee relations issues and recommending solutions that are in alignment with our Company's values. • Provide coaching, training and support to managers and leadership team on various employee relations issues.Workers Compensation Management. • Conduct accident investigations and make safety recommendations to avoid similar injuries and work closely with insurance representatives and treating physicians in order to determine accommodations and reinstate injured employees as quickly as possible.• Own the customer service experience by being the main point of contact with injured employees and work closely with injured employee to help encourage a speedy recovery and to help avoid litigation. • Partner with all internal departments to uncover and develop opportunities for job accommodations and develop return to work programs in order to minimize claim. • Experienced in initiating "The Interactive Process" for employees with permanent work restrictions. Performance Management & Corrective Action • Developed policy and procedure to ensure the uniform application throughout all departments. •Train supervisors and leadership team in the proper way to implement corrective action policy and procedure. • Advise supervisors and leadership team through the selection and development of the most appropriate corrective action procedure. • Developed and lead company wide Corrective Action Training for new supervisors. • Direct separation meetings and conduct exit interviews • Represent the employer in Unemployment and appeal court hearings.
